La Paulée is my homage to La Paulée de Meursault, a convivial Burgundian fête shared by growers and their guests. At La Paulée de San Francisco 2014, guests sampled current releases and older vintages from the most sought-after domaines of Burgundy. The wine service was led by over fifty of our nation's most noted sommeliers.
La Paulée de San Francisco 2014 continued the tradition of serving guests the world's greatest wines with cuisine from the world's finest chefs. Chef d'Honneur Daniel Boulud, host chef Michael Mina, and guest chef César Troisgros of the legendary Maison Troisgros in Roanne, France, joined a brigade of local star chefs to collaborate on the year's unforgettable menus.
We were also delighted to announce the return of Burgundy Week, which took place not only in San Francisco, but also simultaneously in New York. Both cities' top restaurants joined in the celebration of La Paulée. You can find out more about participating restaurants' programs on our Burgundy Week page.
I hope you enjoyed La Paulée de San Francisco and hope to see you again at La Paulée de New York 2015!
