Vive la Bourgogne! La Paulée and our roster of incredible Burgundian growers want to share the spirit of La Paulée and our love of Burgundy with our passionate following.
While the Burgundians cannot be present, we have worked with a number of top growers to create a digital tasting book with audio and video components to bring to life one of the most important parts of La Paulée - the insight, spirit, and passion of the participating winemakers.
La Paulée is offering a number of curated tasting packs for each producer. Many of these wines are quite rare and allocated, and others are relatively new to the market and are “sommelier secrets,” rarely finding their way into retail offerings, so this is an incredible opportunity to stock your cellar and enjoy a fun and educational tasting experience with some of the best that Burgundy has to offer.

If there is one Premier Cru vineyard in Gevrey-Chambertin that stands above all others, it is Clos-Saint-Jacques, a 6.7 hectare parcel of vines situated at the mouth of the Combe de Lavaux, one of Burgundy’s numerous small valleys cut into the otherwise uninterrupted Côte.
This seminar will cover the entirety of this very special Clos with interviews filmed on-site with all five proprietors of the vineyard, each of whom own one parcel of vines that stretches from the bottom to the very top of the slope - Eric Rousseau & Cyrielle Rousseau, Bruno Clair, Sylvie Esmonin, Jean-Marie Fourrier, and Thibault Gagey of Maison Louis Jadot. Geologist Françoise Vannier will also add her scientific perspective.
William Kelley, Burgundy reviewer for The Wine Advocate, will moderate an accompanying live conversation with Jean-Marie Fourrier and Thibault Gagey, with the opportunity for viewers to submit questions.

With its expressive name conjuring images of young lovers that echo the sensuality found in the wine itself, the vineyard of Les Amoureuses is appropriately beloved by Burgundy aficionados, and can be considered to be a “Premier Cru Plus,” often compared in style to its Grand Cru neighbor Musigny.
We are honored to present this hallowed terroir through the eyes of three of the top vignerons who feel privileged to make wine there - Christophe Roumier, Frédéric Mugnier, and Véronique Drouhin-Boss - through video filmed on location.
A live conversation with Véronique Drouhin, Christophe Roumier, and Daniel Johnnes will give the opportunity for viewers to submit questions.

A hallmark of Burgundy is the “family estate” that is passed from generation to generation. It is a particularly exciting time in the region right now, with many children of famous winemakers returning to their domaines - not necessarily to take over from their parents who might not be quite ready to retire but to work side by side and master the business.
This seminar will feature six of Burgundy’s illustrious winemaking families and their stories, told through video shot on location, as well as a live discussion led by the La Paulée team with the opportunity for viewers to submit questions.

The history and significance of these two Climats are reflective of Burgundy as a whole, and there are no better tellers of the story of Burgundy than these two gentlemen.
Messieurs de Villaine and d’Angerville need no introduction of course, as two of the most influential vignerons in Burgundy, but they are also founders and past presidents of Les Climats du Vignoble de Bourgogne, an organization that successfully lobbied for the recognition of the vineyards of Burgundy as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and which currently acts to safeguard and promote them.
Guillaume will also join Daniel Johnnes for a live conversation with the opportunity for viewers to submit questions.
